The weather is still cold, but it’s slowly getting warmer with Spring well on its way. The day light hours are as long as those of the night, but the nights are getting shorter. In the Wellsorrow Region, the Shadowfell despair is fading in its cycle. The people of Ashbourne and surrounding areas are feeling happier and it’s easier to shake the despair, and harder to fall under its influence. There is a half moon in the night sky tonight. A red comet will be visible throughout most of the night.
Shadowfell Despair Check: DC 9/15
al’Zand curled up tighter into his bedroll clutching his head. The pain had subsided, but the conversation behind him ate at his conscious. He had messed up something. Something was wrong. Ghosts and darkness ebbed and flowed at his perpherials.
ae’Nyx presses a cold hand to his forehead often as he stirs the pot on he’s brewing a floral foul smelling concoction. His cool touch is warming even as it chills his skin. He’s tender and those big purple flecked eyes bring a sense of calm. al’Zand smiles weakly at him.
He doesn’t listen to the conversation, his ears covered with his hands. ae’Nyx hands him a cup of tea. “It’ll help you sleep.”
al’Zand takes a swallow and immediately feels more calm. A second and third, and he’s yawning himself to sleep.
