Ashbourne
The weather is still cold, but it’s slowly getting warmer with Spring well on its way. The day light hours are as long as those of the night, but the nights are getting shorter. In the Wellsorrow Region, the Shadowfell despair is fading in its cycle. The people of Ashbourne and surrounding areas are feeling happier and it’s easier to shake the despair, and harder to fall under its influence. There is a half moon in the night sky tonight.

Miranda wouldn’t take no for an answer. She ushered us all up the stairs and into their very spacious room. I didn’t have time to protest and when I opened my mouth Miranda just smiled and pressed a finger to my lips., leaned in and whispered, “We all want something here.”
What did she know? Of course Rosana had told her her plan, but what did she know of the other’s motives. al’Zand was her husband, obviously a lie from his glare and reaction. And his completely attention and obvious attraction to the boy who spoke to boggles and gained their help.
The knight looking fellow didn’t seem like he was all that interested, but he too listened intently to the boy’s words. What did he want with ae’Nyx? Was someone else after the elixir?
The room was spacious, and there were two large beds. When had Miranda procured such a thing?
“How exactly is this going to work, Miranda? I waving my hand over the contents of the room and the five of us. She had some diabolical plan, I wanted to know what it was.
al’Zand dropped his things on one of the beds and glared at Miranda. “Girls in one, boys in another.”
I scoffed. “That is a no. You and your wife in one. I don’t care where they sleep but this bed is mine.”
Both ae’Nyx and Rain unfurled their sleeping bags. The difference between the two elves was ae’Nyx choose a corner and al’Zand watched with helpless and restless hands as his newly acquired interest had already been settling in. The blue eyed man crouched down and whispered with his friend.
Rain on the other hand laid out in the middle of the room and started stripping his armor. There was no where left to look. When I swept my eyes over the empty bed I had claimed Miranda lay sprawled out upon in watching me. What was her game?
