The weather is still cold, but it’s slowly getting warmer with Spring well on its way. The day light hours are as long as those of the night, but the nights are getting shorter. In the Wellsorrow Region, the Shadowfell despair is fading in its cycle. The people of Ashbourne and surrounding areas are feeling happier and it’s easier to shake the despair, and harder to fall under its influence. There is a half moon in the night sky tonight.
Shadowfell Despair Check: DC 9/15
Alushtas followed the men folk to the table. The boggle helped himself to bread delivered to the frail looking boy who could only be his half brother. In the dim light of the inn he didn’t doubt it anymore.
The women followed and sat down first. The blonde next to Zand and the red head who had yet to introduce herself to ae’Nyx. When Zand asked his newly found ward what he needed the boggle for, her eyes darted directly to the boy who was slowly scooping up a gruel and savoring each bit like he hadn’t eaten in weeks.
Maybe he hadn’t. It had been weeks since Alushtas found the grizzly scene he’d fled from.
Alushtas sat down in front of the two men pushing aside the men who were sitting their with a tap of his sword he just grinned and they fled the scene. He looked like he could wield the sword despite the fact he’d not really used it much outside of practice. He could kill a practice dummy with ease.
“Aye, what good are these foul depressing creatures?”
The serving girl brought Alushtas the same thing as she had ae’Nyx and he paid for a round of drinks for his new ‘friends.’
“We weren’t properly introduced back there,” Alushtas spoke to Zand and ae’Nyx mostly. “My name is Alushtas Maskan.”
ae’Nyx giggled between bites. “Rain Fire.”
Alushtas cocked his head to the side. “You are a fluent one, aren’t you?”
He shrugged. Alushtas asked, “What other languages by chance might you speak?”
