The weather is still cold, but it’s slowly getting warmer with Spring well on its way. The day light hours are as long as those of the night, but the nights are getting shorter. In the Wellsorrow Region, the Shadowfell despair is fading in its cycle. The people of Ashbourne and surrounding areas are feeling happier and it’s easier to shake the despair, and harder to fall under its influence. There is a half moon in the night sky tonight.

It was probably best to find a room. The guild would provide for one, but Rosana hoped to not be in the area for long, find the kid with the recipe and be gone by nightfall. At least, that was the plan. Ashbourne was not a place she wanted to be.
The dockmaster sent her down the shoreline road and to the Scared Horses Inn. It was a noisy place; the music was rowdy and the patrons more so. One man rushed off the stage and slipped out the side in a hurry.
The blonde on the stage watched her partner flee into the shadows of the kitchen with a concerned look on her face, but she continued her roccus sea song that would affront more naïve ears. She was oddly familiar.
The voice was haunting with the music behind it. There was magic in the air. The sailors on the ship had spoken of the harlot. The blonde with a voice of a goddess. Yet she had avoided anyone on the ship, but she’d heard it. This was the same woman. The same one on the ship. What were the odds?
Her voice was captivating and Rosana drew near and took a seat in the front. The blue eyes of the human woman met hers and offered her a smile. And with a flick of lute, she was off into another song of sailor delights and debauchery of yore. The enchanting moment passed and another to connect to.
Maybe she should go to the guild house instead? Rosana looked around. This place might not do…
