Mother’s Day

Mother’s day is fast approaching here in the US and I’m given to thinking about my mother. I never celebrated the holiday – my mother didn’t love me. But my kids love their mother. Quinn loves her mother, they all do. Alex is the only one who has a had a strange relationship with his mother that slightly understands my disinterest in the holiday.

But we’ll celebrate it somehow.

AJ bought her mother a cow. Now before you go all why did she buy her mom a stuffed toy? Her mother loves cows. Like if you don’t know what to get her you go for something cow themed. AJ once bought her mom Cow PJs cause why not. Its mostly a gag but her mother puts them all on display. This particular cow though smells like lavendar and can be warmed or cooled and used for mild comfort. AJ actually wants one, not a cow persay but the idea of the stuffed animal bringing comfort. I can see Hunter liking this too.
