Special Non-Canon Snippet

Since I’ve been crappy at actually remembering to post. I figured I’d give you something special.

This is not canon. I don’t even know where it goes in relation to anything. But it’s me and Alex and sweet and sappy!

I hadn’t spent many nights at Alex’s. He’d not spent any at mine, always leaving in the middle of the night. Normally I would have too except for the first time in forever I hadn’t had a nightmare that woke me up sweating and thrashing in my covers. I didn’t even feel the pang of fear when my eyes opened naturally. There still was no sun, my heart was racing because I felt like I was late. It wasn’t even 6 in the morning.

I rolled on to my side and looked at Alex. Watched him sleep, the rise and fall of his chest, the faces he made in his sleep were amusing. He was peaceful in his sleep. I enjoyed the quiet and I enjoyed looking at him. I enjoyed a whole lot more with him too, but this was the first time I’d gotten to look at my lover. His disheveled hair, the rise and fall of his lips. My own thoughts carrying me off into arousal.

I should get up and do yoga, but I had a completely different form of exercise in mind. I grinned as I moved closer to Alex and he groaned a little as I shifted him with my weight on the mattress. My fingers trailed down his side and over his boxers. I was grateful he had taken no offense to getting dressed after sex and cuddling more. I really did love touching Alex. It wasn’t even about sex, just holding his hand made him happy. Teasing him though that was something else. And right now Alex was asleep.

I whispered in Alex’s ear that was closest to him. “Alllexxx” Alex smelled so good. It wasn’t the cologne he wore, though I liked that too. No this was all Alex mixed with sex from the night before. It was almost intoxicating. I blew gently into Alex’s ear which earned me a fluttered response of his hand.

I grinned before I pressed my lips to Alex’s. Alex response was almost immediate. His hand snaked into my hair and he pulled me closer . He took my breathe away with a simple kiss.

He wrapped me up against his body, “Go back to sleep.”

I chuckled softly, “I’m awake. And now I can’t go anywhere.”

Alex groaned and let me go. I pouted. “I didn’t say I wanted you to let me go.”

Alex opened his eyes and those gorgeous blue orbs stared back at me. “Make up your mind?”

I grinned at him. “I want you to wake up and play with me.”

“It’s too early.” Alex complained.

“I can make it worth your time.” I rolled Alex on to his back and laid on top of him. “Or I can lay here like this.”

Alex wrapped his arms around me and pulled me against him, “Sleep first, more later.”

I nodded. “Later.”
