I’m neither a night owl or a early bird.  Nights are worse than the day for me, but it is also a great time for me to get things done since I’m awake.  The only thing I don’t like doing is driving at night.  I dislike driving anywhere in the City at any time, but nights anywhere are not my thing.

I would be considered an insomniac by most.  I go to bed late 10 to 11pm.  I wake up around 3 to 4am nearly every night.  I don’t get enough sleep.  I tend to nap for an hour or so in the middle of the day just so I don’t crash.  I get a lot of quiet work done at night, or I go to the gym.  Early mornings mean early breakfast and early start to the day so people think I’m an early bird.

I’m neither.  My body works the way it works and I’m surprised I manage as well as I do on little to no sleep every night.   I don’t think I could imagine a night where I slept all night long with no nightmares.  I can’t imagine not seeing the sun set and the sun rise each day – that world doesn’t exist for me.  My nightmares keep me awake.

  1. As someone who’s suffered night terrors for most of my life, I can definitely relate to this.

I’m sorry to hear that you suffer from night terrors.

      1. No worries. Hasn’t happened for a few years. But I appreciate for post. :)

      2. Nox says:

        That’s good to hear.
