Alex and I aren’t dead. Our story isn’t dead.

AJ found Baldur’s Gate 3 and has been in a spiral of BG3 games and content and totally not letting me live my life in my world. Instead I’ve been loving every second of watching first the Half-Elven warlock beat the game while romancing a flirty and flamboyant vampire.

The fam has also decided to play and they are running through a campaign on the weekends now.

AJ’s current play through started as a straight up Paladin with an Oath of Vengeance, but is now running only 2 levels in Paladin, 5 in warlock and 3 in bard for some extra versatility. The rest will all go into Paladin I’m told. He too is romancing the vampire, but he did try Shadowheart and when he had the option of the Druid scene he had Karlach in the running too, so no idea what’s really goin on there mates.

But AJ is headlong into BG3. Even thinking up possible characters and backstories for her Paladin/Warlock combination since it’s slightly against one another. But it is fun.

AJ says the next solo play through will be as Astarion. Won’t it be sweet! He’s so fun, though we will highly miss the voice actor as he’ll become silent. That will be sad. It’s bad when AJ starts hunting fanfiction!
