Meeting My Father

“I’d like you to meet your father.” Dorian said. The door to his office opened and my fucking idol walked in. He stood in the doorway, glowering at me.

“I don’t see why I have to be here, Dorian.” Kai said softly.

“He’s 18. He’s graduating, and it’s time you both knew the truth.” Dorian said plainly.

“Now he knows, now I know. I’m going to go see how my real son is doing in his graduation.” Kai didn’t slam the door, it closed with a soft click.

“That went better than I expected.” Dorian said. “You okay?”

“I am.”
