Today’s prompt was jewel — thus the diamond in the rough title. The chosen one. The one who can use some work to get to the beautiful center. Under pressure.

Yeah that all sounds like me. But there is more to it than that. There are a lot of diamonds in the rough in my story. We all go through things. You are a diamond in the rough too!
