A young class of Venatori are each tasked with finding and killing a rouge supernatural as their class final exam.
Nox Sétanta is tasked with hunting down a werewolf who has been terrorizing Central Park. Nox uses his unique ability to track down a werewolf and corners it in an alley. Nox’s teacher is proctoring his exam and Nox has no choice but to shoot the shifting boy. After his teacher leaves, Nox shows remorse and apologizing to the dead boy another man comes up and cries with Nox revealing the man’s true nature of his crimes and showing trust in Nox by telling him.
