We live in a world where things are drastically different from when my father was a kid, or when he was a kid. Technology changed the world and with it music changed. My father loved the rock and roll of his age. I like anything that I can dance to. But when I was a kid and You Tube was introduced I found a lot of music that I identified with from his era – David Bowie, Freddie Mercury. The glam band era is part of the reason for the make up.

I remember finding a David Bowie vinyl record in a thrift shop. I had to buy a record player to actually listen to it. That was fun looking for one that worked. My roommates made fun of me, but I listened to it every night for a month straight. They got tired of it. But I loved it.

But Aaron torched it one night when he was tired of it. He torched a lot of my things to be honest. I didn’t have money and what I did earn I worked hard for. So losing things was bad, and why I don’t really own anything now. Kinda ruined the whole thing watching things go up in flames because your roommate didn’t like it.

Aaron was an ass. He still is. He didn’t grow up at all. I’m thankful I did. I grew up at least a smidgen.
